NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration
NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration is designed for staff who work as an administrative or clerical assistant.
Mandatory Units
To attain the full NVQ qualification learners must achieve the following two mandatory units, plus three optional units:

- Work within your business environment

NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration
NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration is designed for staff who work as a secretary, personal assistant or office admintrator.
This course is designed to reflect the most up-to-date business theory and practice and will enable you to assess your knowledge and increase your contribution to the workplace. It is particularly aimed at those who have completed the Level 2 certificate or have equivalent experience.
Mandatory Units
This qualification requires the successful completion of five mandatory units and four optional units. The five mandatory units are:
- Maintaining effective working relationships
- Contributing to the maintenance of a healthy, safe and productive work environment
- Managing your work and development
- Contributing to coordinating administrative services
Assessment Guidelines
Oral or written questions will be used to check your knowledge and provide you with guidance and support to complete the Cumulative Assessment Record required.
